Four things that are true of us and not of most pool builders — each one you can check before you spend anything.
Judged work, our own factory, and a published price
Most pool companies ask you to take their word for it. We would rather you checked.
Our customers can share their experience independently of Cosmo. Read their feedback alongside the projects and awards before choosing your builder.
Our work is judged annually by the National Spa and Pool Institute: 34 awards across 2024 and 2025, including the 2025 National Pool of the Year for fibreglass. The range includes published DIY and installed starting prices for all 69 shells, recorded on 7 September 2026.
Ratings, awards, prices. Three things a stranger can verify in about two minutes, which is rather the point.
What actually makes the difference
We make the shell ourselves
Every fibreglass shell is manufactured at our own plant on the R513 Brits Road in Hartbeespoort. No importing, no waiting in someone else's delivery queue, and no third party to blame if something is wrong. You are welcome to come and watch one being built.
One team, start to finish
Excavation, craning, plumbing, coping and commissioning are all done by Cosmo crews. Nothing is subcontracted, which is why the programme holds and why there is one number to call.
In the ground in 5–7 days
Because the shell is already made, most installations are complete within a week of breaking ground. A concrete pool is measured in weeks.
The price is on the website
Compare all 69 shells with published DIY and fully installed starting prices. The detailed quotation confirms delivery, site conditions and the extras you choose.
A 10-year structural guarantee, in writing
Every Cosmo shell carries a 10-year structural guarantee. The full terms are published — what is covered, what is excluded, and what to do if something goes wrong — because a guarantee you have to ask to see is not much of a guarantee.
The Cosmo-Loq installation method is what that guarantee rests on: the shell is bedded and locked so it cannot move or float, which is the failure that ends most fibreglass pools prematurely.
We would rather you never need it. But if you do, it is written down and it is ours to honour.
Good value, honestly priced
We are not the cheapest quote you will get, and we would be suspicious of one that was. What we are is transparent: the price is on the website, the estimate is itemised, and delivery is calculated from your address and included rather than added later.
Published starting prices as at 7 September 2026 range from R14 000 for a DIY shell kit, and R57 000 to R127 000 for a standard installation. Compare the specification and scope as well as the total.
What people ask before they choose us
Is the price on the website the price I will pay?
The displayed prices are standard-installation starting prices recorded on 7 September 2026. Your final price depends on site access, excavation, delivery and extras. Continue to Cosmo's live estimator for an itemised quotation.
Do you build concrete pools as well as fibreglass?
Yes. We manufacture and install fibreglass shells, and we build fully custom concrete pools. If a shell cannot physically reach your hole — narrow access is the usual reason — a concrete pool can, and we will tell you that before you commit to anything.
How long does an installation actually take?
Most fibreglass pools are in the ground and ready to fill within 5 to 7 days of breaking ground, because the shell is already made. A custom concrete pool is measured in weeks rather than days.
Can I see a shell being made?
Yes. The plant is on the R513 Brits Road in De Wildt, Hartbeespoort, and you are welcome to visit and watch one being built. Very few pool companies can offer that, because very few make their own shells.
What does the 10-year guarantee cover?
The structural integrity of the shell. The full terms — what is covered, what is excluded, and what to do if something goes wrong — are published on our warranties page rather than kept behind a request.
